Lizard Island is a National Park covering 1,013 hectares with 24 sandy beaches and a lagoon. Lizard Island is accessed by air from Cairns Airport in northern Queensland.
With 24 powdery white private beaches to explore, and access only by private plane, there are no day trippers here – the island is reserved for a fortunate few. Lizard Island is an idyllic retreat offering sensational diving, snorkeling right off the beach and inner and outer reef fishing.

Lizard Island presents elegant, yet understated Great Barrier Reef accommodation. Choose from a range of rooms, suites and villas offering relaxed luxury.
Anchor Bay Room
Located in a tropical garden setting with easy access to Anchor Bay and the beach, the 44 sq metre rooms have a private balcony and hammock. Interiors are compact but comfortable and include a Bose sound system with CD player and iPod connectivity.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults
Existing Bedding Configuration: King-size bed or two double beds
Sunset Point Villas
Sunset Point Villas are set high on Sunset Ridge amongst native eucalyptus bush. Providing filtered sea views over Anchor Bay or Sunset Beach, these Villas offer privacy and easy access to a string of secluded beaches. Each Villa has a private deck with comfortable Australian timber chairs and a hammock. The 55 sq metre Sunset Point Villas also feature a Bose sound system with CD player and iPod connectivity.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults
Existing Bedding Configuration: King-size bed, and a rollaway bed provided for the third person.
Anchor Bay Suite
Set in a broad sweeping arc along Anchor Bay, with easy access to the main Lodge, the 87 sq meter Anchor Bay Suites offer captivating sea views and each has a pathway leading directly to the beach. Seamlessly blending indoors and out in an elegant and spacious open plan design, a large verandah with daybed is one of the many comforts. Anchor Bay Suites also feature a Bose sound system with a CD player and iPod connectivity.

Existing Bedding Configuration: King bed or 2 King single beds.
Pavilion
Perched high above the Coral Sea and set on the point of Sunset Ridge, The Pavilion combines complete privacy with a spectacular 270-degree panorama of Anchor Bay, Osprey Island and Sunset Beach. An expansive decking area incorporates a private plunge pool, sun lounges and a daybed area, inviting guests to relax and take in the stunning views. Leaving the balcony to stroll down a private path, guests will discover another secluded area where chairs and a table have been perfectly positioned to make the most of sea breezes and the gorgeous views. Inside, the 71 sq metre Pavilion offers every comfort. A Bose sound system with CD player, iPod connectivity and a laptop computer for downloading and sending emails are among some of the special features. The Pavilion is the only suite at Lizard Island with Wi-Fi connectivity. Champagne and a deluxe fruit bowl greet guests on arrival.

Getting to and from Lizard Island
Access to and from Lizard Island is provided by Hinterland Regular Scenic Air, departing from Cairns Airport. A private transfer will be provided from the Domestic or International Airports to their terminal. A 1 hour minimum connection time must be allowed for a domestic connection and 2 hours for International connections. Private aircraft charters can be arranged.
Kids Policy
Children 13 years and over are welcome on Lizard Island.
Cancellation Policy
30 – 15 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee applies.
Inside 14 days a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
For the period 21 December 2012 – 07 January 2013 a 100% cancellation fee will apply for bookings cancelled inside 31 days of arrival.
