We will endeavour to provide the most suitable travel arrangements to meet the particular requirements you make known to us. However, travel is an individual experience, and your preferences and opinions may vary from our own. For this reason, we cannot take responsibility for your individual satisfaction; neither can we take responsibility for weather nor for compatibility of fellow guests or staff during the course of your travel.

When we make bookings with the providers of travel, accommodation, airfares, cruises, meals, entertainment, activities, transfers, facilities or services, etc (“the Suppliers”) we are acting as a booking agent for the Suppliers. All travel, accommodation, airfares, cruises, transfers, meals, entertainment, activities or services etc., are supplied directly to you by the Supplier. We have no control over the facilities or services themselves, or the manner in which they are provided by the Suppliers. Therefore you should be aware of the following conditions:
Bullet Our World’s obligation is to make travel bookings and to arrange relevant contracts directly between you and the Suppliers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty of representation regarding their standard. Your legal recourse is against the specific Supplier and not Our World.
Bullet Our World will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind (including without limitation, any loss suffered as a result of death, injury, and/or illness) that may arise from your use or consumption of, or inability to use or consume, various Suppliers facilities or services.
Bullet The provision of facilities or services is subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by your contract direct with each Supplier. Our World will not be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred as a result of decisions made without prior approval from Our World. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements made through Our World.
Bullet All facilities or services described by us are subject to availability from the Supplier. Where for any reason, a Supplier is unable to provide particular facilities or services, then that Supplier may be entitled, under its contract with you to substitute those services or facilities with comparable or equivalent facilities or services without incurring any liability to you. You should check your contract with each Supplier.
Bullet Our World will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage relating to your baggage, personal possessions, health or welfare, or delays or travel disruptions, etc.

If you are unsure, or would like us to provide this additional information, please do not hesitate to discuss this and any questions you may have with your Travel Specialist.

While we have exercised reasonable care and skill to ensure that we have provided information that is correct, accurate, and as up-to-date as possible at the time, please note that this information is supplied to us by the Suppliers. We do not have, and cannot be reasonably expected to have, personal knowledge about all the facilities or services provided by each Supplier. Facilities or services do change and we endeavour to keep you informed of any changes to information that are brought to our attention. All maps, illustrations, images, photographs, etc., are for indicative purposes only and may not necessarily reflect actual places or positioning.

All prices are on a per person basis unless otherwise stated, are expressed in New Zealand dollars, can be withdrawn or varied without notice, and are for payment by cash, cheque, direct deposit and eftpos. Credit card prices are on application and if you pay by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Our World. Events beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations, changes to the price of fuel or changes to the cost of services and facilities may result in the prices charged to you being different. If for any reason price increases or variation of terms are notified to us between the time of quoting and booking to the time of your departure, or the date of the first service organised by us, we reserve the right to vary the price to you up to the time of your departure.

Unless otherwise advised by your Travel Specialist, prices quoted are based on dynamic pricing and can change at any time without warning and are subject to change until final confirmation of the booking is made in writing. Bookings are subject to availability of flights, accommodation and transfers at the time of booking request. A minimum non-refundable deposit of $100 per adult passenger is required for all booking requests to be made. Some suppliers require additional higher deposits to confirm a booking. Certain airfares require immediate payment and your Travel Specialist will explain this at time of booking. All balances of payment are due at least 60 days prior to departure or earlier as advised by your Travel Specialist. If no payment or notification has been received by the due dates, it will be automatically assumed that the booking is to be cancelled. If the booking is made 60 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required immediately. Travel documents will not be issued until full payment with cleared funds is received.

Amendments requested by you to a confirmed itinerary more than 60 days prior to departure may incur an amendment administration fee that will be a maximum of $100 per person per amendment plus any fees levied by the service providers and the Suppliers in your package. For amendments 60 or less days prior to departure a maximum fee of $200 per person per amendment plus any fees levied by the service providers and the Suppliers in your package may be incurred. This would only occur due to factors which are outside our control and including such things as airline schedule changes, airfare increases, increases due to currency fluctuations, hotel price increases, or any other increases that are part of the package price. If such changes in itinerary and prices did not suit, you would have the right to ask for re-arrangement of your itinerary or cancel services completely. In the event of cancellation, only monies left, after all supplier and other cancellation fees including Our World’s have been deducted, may be refunded. Suppliers may view name corrections as an amendment or a cancellation depending on the level of correction and subject to each Suppliers’ booking conditions, therefore any name corrections are subject to the Suppliers approval and you will be liable for any Supplier fees they may charge to correct the name, in addition to an Our World administration fee.

If you cancel, or no-show, or terminate your travel arrangements for any reason, or in the event of name changes, there will be cancellation fees. Once your airline ticket has been issued, full cancellation fees of usually 100% of the airfare can apply depending on the conditions that apply to the airfare you purchased. In addition to any airfare fee, cancellations more than 60 days prior to departure will attract a minimum Our World administration fee of $200 per passenger plus any fees levied by the service providers and the Suppliers in your package. For cancellations 60 days or less prior to departure a minimum Our World administration fee of $250 per passenger applies, plus any fee up to 100%  charged by the airlines's, plus any fee up to 100% charged by the other service providers and the Suppliers in your package.

We strongly recommend traveller/s take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy which will, under certain circumstances and subject to the policy conditions, cover such things as cancellation fees, baggage, personal liability and accident and medical cover. It is strongly recommended that insurance be purchased and paid for with deposit payments. Our World is not responsible for a client’s failure to purchase Travel Insurance or for being inadequately covered. Our World is pleased to be able to offer very competitive Travel Insurance, so please contact us today for a quote!

All travellers should be aware of any health or visa requirements for the countries that they are traveling to. It is the responsibility of all members of the traveling party to obtain a valid passport and any necessary visas and vaccination documents for your international holiday. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting requirements will be your responsibility as Our World will not be responsible for any loss or expense due to your failure to obtain any necessary travel documents.

Please ensure that you have a minimum of 6 months validity left in your passport upon your planned departure from the foreign country, as most immigration/international borders insist this as a pre-requisite before entry into their country will be permitted.

A visa may be required for entry at your destination, or for re-entry back into New Zealand. Please contact your relevant embassy or your Travel Specialist immediately should you fall into this category and require assistance or further information.

At least six to eight weeks before you travel, you should consult your registered health professional about any health concerns where you are travelling, any inoculations you should have before you leave, and any medications you should take with you. Your registered health professional should be able to provide you with the advice for your particular circumstances, and provide you with up to date travel heath advice based on official and unofficial sources.

In today’s travelling marketplace, there is no longer a standard baggage policy that we can accurately publish. As such we recommend that you make yourself fully aware of the baggage conditions of each Supplier of Services that you have booked. These conditions are generally available on the Suppliers’ website however please do contact Our World should you require any assistance or further information. Payment of any excess baggage charges (usually levied by the airline at check-in if your baggage weight is over any free allowance) is the traveler’s sole responsibility. Please note that some domestic flights, and helicopter and seaplane transfers, have strict baggage weight and size limitations that you will need to adhere to. Transportation of surfboards, golf clubs and other bulky items are not included in your arrangements and will incur additional costs. Please ensure you notify your Travel Specialist prior to your departure of any such items as usually they must be pre-booked and prepaid.

Unless otherwise specified, the cost of meals, drinks, laundry, telephone calls, insurance, sightseeing tours, local taxes, airport departure taxes, aviation insurance levies and passport or visa application fees are not included. Included in the package costs are charges for normal booking procedure costs, communication costs, administration, research, printing, etc. Where the land arrangements of holidays are included in a composite package, an itemisation of costs will not be rendered. If, of your own choice, you decide not to use part or parts of the arranged services or facilities, you will not be entitled to a refund from us and you may not be entitled to a refund from any Supplier. If you are able to secure a refund, we will be unable to provide this until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier.

The laws of New Zealand will govern any claims or legal action in connection with the provision of our services to you. Any claim or legal action against the Suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms of your contract with them, and may be governed by the laws of other countries.
