Daydream Island’s amazing Living Reef is located at the entrance to the resort; it is one of the world’s largest man-made living coral reef lagoons and features more than 80 species of marine fish and 50 species of coral. This microcosm of the Great Barrier Reef continues to capture the imagination of guests young and old, with guests having the opportunity to hand feed resident stingrays, sharks and barramundi.

Skippers Kids Club caters for children 6 weeks to 12 years and is a happy place to be! Evening babysitting can also be arranged.”

All rooms are air conditioned with spacious ensuites, have satellite remote control TV, bar size refrigerators and mini bars, tea/coffee making facilities, SDD/IDD telephone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and in-house movies and Playstation Video games (pay per use).

Stay in a Garden Balcony Room and enjoy views over a sparkling pool, tropical garden or a lush rainforest when you step outside to your balcony or patio area. The Garden Balcony Room is surrounded in natural beauty, which compliments the refreshing décor and spacious indoor plan.

 Ocean Balcony Room

 Daydreamer Suite
Located in the Daydreamer Wing overlooking Lovers Cove, this romantic retreat has a stunning ocean view.  Panoramic Suite

Getting to and from the Daydream Island Resort and Spa
Access to Daydream Island is by coach/fast catamaran from Whitsunday Airport at Proserpine or by fast catamaran from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island Airport.

Kids Policy
Children aged 0-14 years inclusive stay free of charge when sharing a room with parents/adults and utilising existing bedding. Breakfast for children aged 0-14 years if free of charge. Cots can be provided free of charge. Skippers Club – the place where kids want to be – available for children 6 weeks to 12 years – fees applicable. Babysitting can be arranged.

Cancellation Policy
 01 April – 21 December 2012, 07 January – 31 March 2013 – a cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival – one nights accommodation is charged.
 22 December 2012 – 6 January 2013 – a cancellation 14 days or less prior to arrival will incur a one night cancellation fee. No shows, and a cancellation whilst in house will also incur a fee at the discretion of the Resort.
